Order Process

Our streamlined online ordering system ensures that sending flowers to your loved ones in Battersea is simple and secure. The steps for placing an order are as follows:

Cancellations and Changes

Due to the perishable nature of flowers, once an order has been made up or sent for delivery, we may be unable to accommodate changes or cancellations.

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, except for items that are perishable or made to your specifications. For items that do not fall under the exception, please return them to us unused, in their original packaging, at your own cost. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method after receipt and inspection of the returned items.

Should your cancellation be accepted before processing has begun, a full refund will be issued. If a cancellation occurs after preparation, Battersea Florist reserves the right to retain part of the payment to cover incurred costs. Please note, refunds will not apply to perishable goods that have already been delivered or are in the process of delivery.

If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your order (for example, due to unavailability of certain flowers), we will inform you promptly and offer alternatives of equal value, a revised delivery date, or a full refund as preferred.

Deliveries

Battersea Florist specialises in prompt, reliable online flower delivery throughout Battersea and the surrounding areas. We aim to fulfil delivery on your requested date but cannot guarantee precise delivery times. Orders will generally be delivered between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. We do not deliver on Sundays or bank holidays unless otherwise specified as part of a special promotion or service.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone will be present to accept delivery at the specified address and time. If the recipient is unavailable, we may leave the order with a neighbour or in a safe location. Delivery instructions provided at checkout will be adhered to where possible, but Battersea Florist cannot accept liability for theft or loss once the flowers have been delivered as per your instructions.

For deliveries to hospitals, hotels, offices, and schools, please ensure that full details, including recipient name and department/room number, are provided. Deliveries to such addresses will be made to the main reception or authorised point only.

Product Descriptions and Substitutions

While Battersea Florist makes every effort to ensure all flowers and products match their online descriptions and images, actual products may vary due to seasonal availability, supply fluctuations, or other unforeseen factors. Where specific flower varieties or packaging are unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with items of similar style, equivalent value, and equal quality to maintain the overall appearance and theme of your arrangement.

If a significant element of your chosen arrangement is unavailable, we will do our utmost to contact you to discuss alternatives or offer a refund. Any substitutions will be made with care to ensure satisfaction with both appearance and value.

Damages, Complaints, and Returns

Your satisfaction is paramount. Please inspect your order upon receipt. If products arrive damaged or incorrect, contact us within 24 hours of receipt, providing clear photographs of the flowers or gifts received and details of your order. Battersea Florist will investigate each claim and, where valid, offer a replacement, redelivery, or refund.

Due to the perishable nature of flowers, returns (except for faulty or incorrect items) cannot be accepted. For non-perishable gift items, returns are accepted in compliance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please retain all packaging and return the item within 14 days of receipt for assessment.

For any complaints, we endeavour to respond within three working days. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

Liability

Battersea Florist will exercise all reasonable care in handling orders, preparing arrangements, and providing delivery services. However, our total liability to you is limited to the total price paid for the goods and services supplied. We do not accept liability for losses resulting from non-availability of specific flower varieties, delivery delays caused by matters beyond our control (such as adverse weather, traffic disruptions, or inaccurate delivery details provided by the customer), or indirect or consequential loss arising from our supply or delivery of any products.
